Video post with Lightbox

Hello again. I want the videos on the blog to play like the videos in the portfolio, with lightbox, but I can’t find the option. How could I get it?

I have published a video on the blog, but it is seen with the vimeo player.

It is possible via Grid module, but it will open the lightbox for the whole post lists. It should not fit your needs, is it?

Hi,

1. Edit the video post, enter the Vimeo URL on post option panel. Set a featured image and category.

2. Add a new page, add a Grid module via BM content builder.
On the the Grid editing panel, select the source as “Post”, select the category of single posts. Select “Open lightbox” for “What Thumbnail Does” on Advance settings tab

3. On “Settings > Reading”, unselect a page for “Posts page” selector.

2. yes, it opens all images and videos that I mentioned it. There is no option to split the video.

It is not necessary to use custom css.
You can enter BM content builder, edit the Grid module, will find the elements(Title, data etc) at “Advanced Tab”:

There is not lightbox option for an archive page.
You can create a page for an archive, and redirect the archive page to the new page.

1. add a new page, add a Grid module via BM content builder.
On the the Grid editing panel, select the source as “Post”, select the category(e.g. audiovisuales) of the archive. Select “Open lightbox” for “What Thumbnail Does” on Advance settings tab, set “Item Style” with “Image+text”, set other options like your homepage

2. Install a WordPress Redirection plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
redirect the archive page (e.g. https://www.yourwebsite.com/category/audiovisuales/ )to the new page

Hi, welcome!

It cannot play with sound, it is not like Vimeo, Youtube does not have an open related API.
So I suggest you use Vimeo to embed the video on the lightbox.

Yes, aspect ratio does not work on the lightbox for some special reason. We will find a solution to fix it.

Hi, It should be caused by one of the plugins, have you installed or updated any plugins recently? If you don’t know which plugin it is, you can deactivate all plugins except BM builder. then you test it and it should be normal to open only the video. You can turn on plugins one by one and test the page at the same time and you will find out which plugin is causing this issue. Find this plugin first and disable it, if you have to use this plugin, and I need to log in to your site backend for further checking, is that ok?

The only method I can think of is to exclude Elementor on specific pages with the lightbox. I searched for options but couldn’t find any. Since you are a Pro user, you can try submitting the ticket to the plugin’s support forum http://my.elementor.com/ . If they provide a solution, that would be the quickest way.
If there is no response from Elementor team, please let me know, I will check if there other solution, and I need to log in to your site backend for further checking, is that ok?

Is it possible via hook or filter, to completely disable ELEMENTOR on specific pages? I want to disable it in the frontend specifically on some pages – BECAUSE right now, elementor loads all its js/css files on every page. I want to avoid that!
