    Hello,

    I’m a photographer and I’m currently building my new website with AIR.

    First of all, I’d like to say that I really love the design of the theme. It is exactly why I chose it and purchased it today.

    However, I’m struggling to understand the recommended workflow for creating my portfolio projects.

    My work is highly narrative. The sequence and composition of the images are an essential part of each project, so I need full control over how my photographs are displayed.

    For example, I would like to create a sequence like this:

    * one horizontal image
    * two vertical images side by side
    * one horizontal image
    * one vertical image
    * two horizontal images side by side

    It is also very important for me to preserve the original aspect ratio of my photographs (3:2 and 2:3, shot with a full-frame camera), avoiding cropping whenever possible.

    I really like the 3/5 Gallery on Right layout, but I haven’t been able to understand how to build this kind of editorial sequence.

    Is this possible with BM Content Builder?

    If so, what is the recommended workflow? Should I use Groups, custom columns, another module, or another approach?

    Many of my projects contain between 20 and 30 photographs, so I would really appreciate your advice before I start building my entire portfolio.

    Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for choosing our product.

    I believe I have a good understanding of your requirements, and I recommend using the Gallery on Right layout.

    You can quickly create this layout in either of the following ways:

    Duplicate an existing post that already uses the Gallery on Right layout.
    Create a new post and insert the layout from Insert Template → Single Project in BM content builder.

    In this layout, the left side is used for text content, while the right side displays the image gallery.

    For the gallery section, you can mainly use:

    Single Image module for displaying one image per row
    Grid module for displaying two images per row

    You can replace the images by editing these modules directly in the BM content builder.

    Please watch the following video for instructions on replacing images and performing other related operations: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/avqb50f9jo696y9s0003b/galleryonright-ediing.mp4?rlkey=6weutiwl944gw1xvlx5nehqqu&dl=0

    Thank you very much. That is exactly what I was looking for, and I have now managed to build the layout using Single Image and Grid modules.

    I have one more question.

    Because my portfolio is built with several modules (Single Image, Grid, Single Image, Grid…), each module creates its own lightbox gallery.

    Is it possible to make all the images on the page belong to the same lightbox gallery, so that when a visitor clicks on any image, they can navigate through the entire project from beginning to end?

    Welcome.

    Please enable the option in page editing page (not in BM content builder):

    Hi,

    Thank you, it works perfectly now.

    I have one more question.

    On the portfolio grid (the homepage, where one image from each portfolio is displayed), the hover always uses the WordPress project title.

    Because my project titles are quite long for SEO, the title wraps onto two lines and the line spacing becomes very tight, making it difficult to read.

    I found the Text (Mouseover) option. If I change it from Title to Excerpt, I can use a shorter title, but the typography changes and I lose the current title style.

    Is it possible either to display a shorter custom title while keeping the current title typography, or to adjust the line spacing of the title?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    I have another question please:

    On the portfolio grid (homepage), how can I reduce the hover title font size?

    My WordPress project titles are long, so the title wraps onto multiple lines and the line spacing overlaps, making it difficult to read.

    Is there a way to reduce the hover title font size or adjust the line spacing?

    Thank you!
