Updating from V.3.11.10 to v3.12.2.4 remove content

Hello, I am having problems updating from V.3.11.10 to v3.12.2.4

The update removes content from the menu and several shortcode used for portfolio visualization.

What kind of info do u need?

Do I need to update little by little from one version to other from the log?

I need you to provide more information. For example, what exactly is the menu? Are the menu items missing or the pages accessed by clicking on the menu? What kind of shortcodes are missing? It would be even more helpful if you could provide screenshots. Do you activate a child theme?
In addition, plz make dure whether the BM contentbuilder plugin is updated also(refer to this tutorial manual-update).

Are you asking about upgrading multiple times, version by version (for example, first from 3.11 to 3.12 and then to 3.13)? If that’s your question, it’s not necessary. It can be directly upgraded from 3.11.10 to the current latest version. However, I still recommend that you make a backup before upgrading.

Hi there, it has changes in the functions.php and I din’t know. THe person who developed the site, did some changes directly into the parent theme…

I have changed that.

Hi,
Thank you for providing the information.
I suggest you put the customized or modified codes in the child theme file (learn more). This way, the modified code won’t be overwritten after the theme is upgraded.
