styling for horizontal rule in text box module

Hi,
I have Air WordPress theme.
I would like to style the horizontal rule for text in a text box module.
What CSS do you propose for this?
(I am planning to reduce spacing above and below it and darken the color).

What is the “it“?Is it a Text Block module?
Do you want to darken the Text or Background color?

Hi,
The “it” is the horizontal rule/line I added in a text block.
There is text before and after the horizontal line, but the spacing between text and the horizontal line is too large.
I want to change this, and make color of the line darker (it’s now #eee, and would change it to #bbb).

It is possible by custom CSS(“Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS”), like:

hr {
    margin-top: -20px;
    margin-bottom: 5px; 
    border-top: 1px solid #bbb;
}
