A few questions:
1. I have the slider on my first page – when i put the cursor over the image the name shows up in a small grey box, is there a way to remove this?
2. When I do the dropdown menu there is a small dot behind the main menu item, can i remove the dot?
3. Is there a way to make a grey/ coloured square behind a text field with some space between the text and the background color? If I just select background color for text it is right at the edge of the text block I would like it to be like 30 points wider so it becomes like a box for the text.January 27, 2026 at 2:12 am #31945Hi,

Thanks1. Please add the custom JavaScript codes by child theme or the Simple Custom CSS and JS plugin (how):
jQuery(document).ready(function( $ ){ jQuery('.slider-item-link').removeAttr('title'); });2. Is the grey block on the sub-menu? check the screenshot:

SeaTheme – FAQs – WordPress Customization – FacebookJanuary 29, 2026 at 10:30 am #31958Hello, and thank you for your help. The code worked well.
The grey box is not there now, I would like to create a grey background box behind the text on the page OM so it frames the text but i can’t see any options for this and i wonder if its possible?
So that the text is resting on a grey surface that is a square, and is a few cm wider than the text in all for directions, so the text is framed. Is there a way to do this?
January 29, 2026 at 11:26 pm #31962Welcome
There is option to set BG color for a Text mod check here: https://doc.seatheme.net/sea-content-builder-plugin/text-module/#background-color

SeaTheme – FAQs – WordPress Customization – FacebookJanuary 30, 2026 at 6:34 am #31967Yes I could see this but then the background color just tightly snugs the text, is there a way to make the background layer wider so it becomes like a framed box? I don’t want it to just cover the part with the text since this looks a bit strange but have a cm or two of margin around the edges of the text, thats what I mean with creating a box or square where you center the text.
Is that possible?January 30, 2026 at 9:57 am #31969I’m sorry, I still don’t understand your question. Could you please provide a screenshot or a sample URL? Thank you.
Regards!
