Missing content, incompatibility after upgrade (downgrade)

I have not been updating my webpage for a year now, but when I did so yesterday, can followed the instructions exactly on Update Arnold from Version 1 to 2(for Existing users), my webpage still shows lines of code instead of my content. There is missing content in pages Works, and Contact(About).

I tried going back and forth with Child themes, old V1 and V2 themes, but none of them display my webpage correctly. I also lose the ability to access and edit my content in the Content Editor.

Can you please advise, how I could proceed to restore my webpage with the least amount of work? I also think it’s unreasonable that I have to pay to extend my Support in order to keep my website up and running, given that it is a developer choice to make this major update. I hope you could resolve my problems, thanks!

Welcome to SeaTheme forum.
Please confirm what the previous version of the Arnold theme is. If it has been just over a year since you last updated, your theme should have been 2.x before. The Version 2 was released in 2021. In this case, you can just update it normally (click here).

If you are not sure, may I check your website? Could you please leave your wp-admin access (URL / username/password) by picking up “Set as private reply”?

I have checked your website. I found that some pages have been created by V2. But the Works and Contact pages are empty. I have checked these two pages repeatedly, but no content is found in the editors of V2 and V1. I don’t know how you operate it. Normally, if you downgrade to V1, the content previously created in V1 still exists. Now that you have created some pages in V2, I suggest you recreate the Works and Contact pages in V2.

(The content should be edited on the BM Content builder).
