Issue embedding background video on Group Element

Hi!

I’m facing an issue while embedding a video on BM Content Builder. I’m using a Group element with background video, through MP4 format video URL.

It renders fine during the building view, but it doesn’t appear on the preview. Upon further inspection, it is present on the DOM, but it seems to be covered by another element. If I manually move the video upwards in the DOM tree, it becomes visible.

Any idea why is this happening, and how can I avoid it?

I checked your website, the video works fine on my browser.
Please try to clean browser cache to test again. If it doesn’t work still, please let me know what your system and browser, and lease let me know which element is covering the video(paste a screenshot better)

Hello! Thank you very much for your reply.

Currently, it is working fine because I embedded a video module, but it is not working the video as the background of the group. What I need to avoid is the pink stripe over the video. I would like it to look more like a Fullscreen hero section.

I enabled a copy of the home to test with the video as group’s background, you can see it here. Any idea how I can fix this?

Please paste the custom CSS code to “Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS” to fix it:

.group-inside>.background-video  {
    z-index: 0;
}
