Irregular Grid

Hi,
i was trying to add more then 2 images for column in irregular grid but i saw that is impossible to do, unless you reduce the column half lenght and duplicate the same column. I need to create a template for homepage and internal projects with a smaller images grid and more or less 2 or three on the same line. How can i manage this?

i would also like to know how can keep the irregualr grid in mobile mode, the demo works, but i if load the template on my page in mobile mode i could only see a simple images scroll.

Please use Group module, activate option “Keep Original Layout on Mobile” on the Group module.

Hello,
thanks for your feedback.
I decided to use masonry grid, so i can create an irregular layout by my self.
But i still find some problems:
– when i insert images the system automatically add square images (i can set the dimension manually but it takes time and i should remember which images are vertical or landscape)
i can set “fit to cointainer” but it works only in preview mode, while in the masonry grid backend i still have wrong dimensions images.
– is there a way i can create a quick layout? or modify one of the preset?

Hi，

I’m very sorry to say that it is not possible to display the images in the original scale in this editor, I admit that it’s not very user-friendly in the editing MasonryGrid interface and we’ll find a way to optimize it.

If you want to use the layout from the demo (like this one), please try to insert the template.

(demo images, it is not means a layout for Irregular Grid )

Hi,
ok, i see. Surely i can create a template, but i have to change every images.the reason why i was asking you if it could be possible to create a quick grid template (see image )
so i can more or less create an irregular grid by simply add images from library and than work on proportions/dimensions

Hi,
The MasonryGrid component does not yet support user-defined layout saving and insertion. If your need is to use the same layout many times, the fastest way at present is still by saving and inserting template. First of all, First create a layout, save it as a template, then in a new page (or the current page), insert the template, select the previously created template; Edit the inserted MasonryGrid, and click pencil icon, which allows you to replace the image from library. Please check the video guide about the process. I hope it helps.
