Hi, I just bought the theme and i am working on my website.
it’s easy to work for a beginner like me and I love it!It was going well, but when I started clone some posts, I got some problem with text module.
1, I can duplicate a post but cannot edit text module.
2, I cannot edit text module even with a new post.My theme and BM content builder are all new version.
I stopped all other applications.
I am not using jetpack.could you help me please? thanks a lot.

I checked your WordPress. Sorry, I cannot reproduce the issues.
I can clone a page or a post, and edit a Text module.
I also added a new post, and added a new Text module, all worked.
Could you give me more tips? You can record a video to reproduce the issue, upload the video via Dropbox or other cloud disk, and share the video link to me, thanks!1, I can duplicate a post but cannot edit text module.
2, I cannot edit text module even with a new post.

hmmm maybe it’s because I am editing the text module in Japanese?
I clone a post, open BM content builder, I copy a new text from memo app and paste it on BM content builder, save it. but the post text is not the new one.here is the video.
I am sorry I am editing a japanese post so it’s not easy to check, but the text module is not updated after i copy and paste from memo.
hope you can figure it out….

Thanks for response, but you did not paste the video URL.
ps:
It may be caused the style of the text. You can try to paste the plant text(without style) and check if there is the issue.

Please follow this process again by directly copying and pasting the text into the Text tag (as shown in the picture). Please ignore the text style for now and see if there are any issues. Thank you.

I don’ t know how to check if there is any php data problems, but if you have no problems, I guess it doesn’t matte….Do I have to uninstall and reinstall? If so, will I lose all the data?

The error comes from an extension of Chrome. But I don’t know which one is. Please stop all extensions of Chrome(via chrome://extensions/), and test the Text module again. If there is the same issue, please try to use Safari to test it again. Let me know the result, thanks

1. Disable Chrome extensions, add a new post, activate Chrome dev-tool console, add a new Text module, edit some text(do not paste text , just use keyboard to enter text), reduce the width cols and click save, check if there is the errors on dev-tool console(on the post editing page), and check the user messages also. Click the eye icon to preview the post, check if the Text module shows correctly including text content and width cols, let me know the result. Thanks
2. Please try to change a computer to test the Text module if you have anther computers or pads
ps: do you find the same issue when you add or edit a Page(Page>Add new)?

Please test:1. Clone a post and then edit it. Delete the text component and add a new Text component. Copy and paste the content into the new text component. Preview and check if the content is saved.
2. Clone another post, but this time do not delete the Text component. Copy and paste a small amount of content, such as a few words or two sentences. After saving, preview and check if the content is saved.
3. Add a new post, and edit on BM content builder, add a Text module, copy from another place(not the APP what you used on the video), like a webpage. After saving, preview and check if the content is saved.

Are all extensions of Chrome disabled when you did the tests?It seems like the issue might be caused by too much content, but based on your page, the content doesn’t seem excessive. What’s even more strange is that I couldn’t reproduce the issue during my general testing.
Could you please test again by copy-pasting a larger amount of content and see if there is any error message on Chrome dev-tool console? Please disable all extensions

Does mac OS effect? Mine is mac OS Monsterey 12.6.5
May 19, 2023 at 5:40 am #29565If the shorter content works, there should be an allowed text length. Please try splitting the content into 2, 3, or 4 parts, copying and pasting them into the editor, saving, reopening, and then pasting the next part of the content. Then preview and check if all the pasted content is displayed correctly.
