Hello there,
a few days ago, I installed the Art Theme and its needed plugins. Since this morning, I am being attacked by a mass of cryptic mails from “my own” domain. It’s happening in pushes of up to 200 Mails every 30 minutes.
Something like this; every mail sent by “wordpress@mydomain.com”
“This mail was sent by admin . Content: 123456”
“This mail was sent by admin . Content: 123456/**/and/**/2=DBMS_PIPE.RECEIVE_MESSAGE(\’b\’,3)”
“This mail was sent by admin . Content: 123456/**/and(select+1/**/from/**/pg_sleep(0))>0/**/”
We already tried a lot, deactivating & deleting every possible plugin, renaming the internal mail adress, changing passwords, using a ton of anti-spam plugins. But nothing seems to help.
I feel like someone is trying to hack into the contact form of the ART Theme. But I also removed every contact form from the page. The mails still keep coming.
Now, I have no idea what to do, we tried to install a backup but it failed.
