My website does not have any images on it yet, as I haven’t populated it, it only contains text. However, the loading speed is not great (has nothing to do with my internet conncetion). When I open Home page, as well as when I go from Home page to About or Contact, there is a noticable few seconds delay. I have followed the instructions in this article: https://doc.seatheme.net/general-topics/how-to-improve-the-portfolio-website-speed/ but found that it did not improve anything.

I checked yourWordPress again. There is the same function(force SSL) in the SiteGround Optimizer. But both the SiteGround Optimizer and Really simple ssl plugin cannot work. The configuration page of the plugins is not able to display. Even I stop one of them. It is not normal. It maybe caused by a SSL issue or security settings. I cannot solve it on wp-admin. It requires a higher level of permission to resolve. You need to submit a ticket to the server host support team:
