Hello!
I feel like I post here often but so far, y’all have been helpful! Today, I ran into an issue with the BM Content Builder’s slider template. It was working great a few days ago and I ran into an issue where it prevented me from adding additional photos so I deleted it and tried again. Now, every time I make adjustments to the slider’s settings and save it, it defaults to its previous settings. I am unable to turn off the auto-play, adjust sizing..etc. Not only that but the images aren’t centered/resized on mobile.
Any idears why this is happening? Thanks a bunch!
Here’s my site.June 30, 2021 at 1:14 am #25143Hi
Please stop all plugins except BM Content builder to check if it works.

If it doesn’t work, may I check your website? Could you please reply your question and wp-admin(URL / username/password)with picking up “Set as private reply”?, I’ll log in to check it.
(If there is the Jetpack plugin, please disable “Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress(.)com accounts”)

1.
I stopped some plugins, I can edit a slider(I recorded a video). It should be caused by one of plugin, you could re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).2.
Also, I am unable to create a “read more” link to hide the bit of text on the default page
What’s the default page URL?
July 2, 2021 at 4:02 pm #25154Hi! The default page is patrickengman.com & the front page is Portraits portfolio. I did a test and deactivated every plugin other than BM Content Builder and I still can’t fully edit the slider on the Portraits page. I’m trying to add white arrows on each side and to have the order of photos randomized. It also won’t let me link to Lightbox or adjust the size for mobile. I can tweak the settings but after I save and publish, the settings aren’t applied.
I’ll try and delete the whole slider and try again but I was hoping to avoid that due to how long it takes to go through the media slide by slide.
July 3, 2021 at 1:58 am #25155Hi,
Yes, I found the issue on the Portraits page. I think it should be caused too much pictures and the sizes fo picture. The performance of the network server is limited. Please try to reduce the number of images. The pictures should be optimized. For website, each image better less than 200k, it is good for page loading speed and SEO. Plz refer to how to optimize image. Try to upload less than 30 images for a slider, make sure each image with less than200k size, if it doesn’t work, reduce the images number.
