i created a single post with a gallery as gallery post. when i click on the post in the timeline, it loads for ages e.g. the loading icon won’t disappear until i click the refresh button in the brower (safari)
same on ios.
1. the images size are too big, 1400px width is ok, I suggest you read this post to optimise Images http://marketblog.envato.com/tips/image-performance-tips-for-authors/
2. I don’t find where’s wrong in day 1, but i find there isn’t issue in other post, so you could remove it, try create a new one.
It it not possible to add pictures that are already uploaded to the Media “container” to a post or a gallery.
You could Attach/Detach the image with post in Media/Library :
