Out of stock notice on shop page and product page – not visible

I was wondering if there is a simple way to show the out of stock notice on both product page and shop page? – just as the “sale” notice is visible.

There is not on shop page.

Thank you, i might have been somewhat unclear with my question, i was hoping to retrieve a similar notice on the actual product photo as there is on the sale products. http://www.kinesiskatecompagniet.se/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/sale.png (this is from the shop page)

If this is not possible i would like to propose a suggestion for future update – if out of stock items on the shop page could be faded so that customers get a hint that these are not available without needing to enter the product itself.
