low Image quality in portfolio

[findanish]

Hello,

Why is the image quality in the portfolio so low? It is fine when opened in lightbox, but otherwise the images are pixellated when viewed in portfolio page. All images are of 2073×1382 resolution.
Is there anything that I should be doing to avoid this?

Please paste your url of portfolio page.

Please pick any of the top 5 portfolios from the above and see all images in it. The images are fine when viewed in lightbox.

Also, Why can’t I use read more tag in portfolio? The read more tag does not appear in portfolio.

Because the image is cropped by 800px width. Please try to edit the file:
../template/single/portfolio-template.php, find line 31:
<img alt="<?php echo get_the_title(intval($portfolio[$index])); ?>" src="<?php echo esc_url($thumb[0]); ?>" width="800" class="list-layout-img gallery-images-img">
update to:
<img alt="<?php echo get_the_title(intval($portfolio[$index])); ?>" src="<?php echo esc_url($thumb_full[0]); ?>" class="list-layout-img gallery-images-img">

Also, Why can’t I use read more tag in portfolio? The read more tag does not appear in portfolio.

Did you talk about Portfolio module? There is not the “more” button in origin design.

That works like a charm! Thank you very much!

And yes about the read more tag, I wanted it in portfolio for the writeup.
