Hello,
You teach me in another topic (thank you for that!!) how to create a standard portfolio by making a new post and select Gallery template. So i did it here http://www.reflexinc.ro
Now I also want to do some blog posts and I need this posts not to be showen in the portfolio categories. i made a category “x Blog” for the blog posts. But this category is listed at the Porfolio page. Can I remove this category from the filters in the portfolio page, so it couldn`t be seen there?
I know I can make the blog post to be standard template, no gallery template like now, but than I can`t add images via Layout Builder witch it seems is only exist in the gallery template. So I have to use gallery template and now this thing mix my blog posts with the portfolio posts. What is your sugestion? What template should I use for blog posts? And how can I add images the right and easy way in the posts?

i made a category “x Blog” for the blog posts. But this category is listed at the Porfolio page
Did you pickup a category(don’t use “All Categories”) for the Portfolio module? It seems that the portfolio listed all posts of whole site.
Cheers!

The dropdown doesn’t let me to choose only some categories.. My works from portfolio are in separate categories…
January 20, 2017 at 1:58 pm #11838I suggest you set all gallery posts into a category. Even this problem is solved, there would be other problem.
January 20, 2017 at 2:02 pm #11839I have many items in the portfolio so I need the filter ideea so I can see different categories like houses, comercials etc
January 20, 2017 at 2:28 pm #11841The posts belonged category “x Blog” should be set it as “standard format” post (Not gallery format post). Only gallery format posts will be shown in Portfolio module.
Fw: the right solution : Create a new category named “Portfolio”, set it as parent category of other categories (like houses, comercials etc). Set all gallery format posts(project item) belonged to “Portfolio” category also.
January 20, 2017 at 3:12 pm #11843I choosed the solution with the porfolio category as parent for the other ones except x blog. Now everything works ok 🙂 I skiped to asign every item to the “portfolio” category and it seems it works. Do you see any problem because I skiped this step?
Now i can put normal blog posts using tge same nice gallery template.
Do you see any future problem with this?
January 21, 2017 at 4:10 am #11847Hi 🙂 I didn’t see problem.
