How to add text to the Home Slider

The home slider template is not allowing me to add any text or even show the footer.

Can you please tell me how i can add contact information to this page? I want the email and tel number to be able to hyperlink as well.

How come the footer doesnt show on this page but it does for every other page?

I mean I would like to put contact info on this page (ideally on the slider if possible) but i don’t see where I can do that.. I would also like the option to show the footer too but the footer doesn’t show on this page for some reason. It shows on other pages though.

The slider template shows without the footer by default. Please download and install the child theme(don’t remove the main Arnold theme, just upload the zipped installable file to install the child and active it) https://www.dropbox.com/s/xzzqyxzs6wim17y/arnold-child%28slider-footer%29.zip?dl=0 it will show the footer

I am currently on the Arnold Child theme, and have the parent theme installed. I still can’t see the footer on this page.. is there another step i need to do?

Why do you think it is not? I only use child themes and never the parent theme.

I checked your website, you install the incorrect file:
Please follow:

1) Remove the current Child theme only (you should activate Arnold theme, or you can not see the delete link on the activated theme)

2) Download the zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xzzqyxzs6wim17y/arnold-child%28slider-footer%29.zip?dl=0

3) install the child theme, upload the downloaded zip file, activate the Child theme

You should update the file that comes with the Themeforest package because no one would know this unless they reach out to you.

The slider template shows without the footer by default. It is designed for this layout.
We will consider adding an option to show a footer for this template in the future.
