How do I have a front page that isn't a page in my drop-down menu?

I read what you wrote about making a front page on previous posts. But now the page is also in my drop down menu, which I don’t want!

Login wp-admin, Click “Appearance / Menus” on left bar, edit the menu item. You could remove the front page from menu. If you don’t know how to edit menu, please chck: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
