Homepage header image slider – mobile image quality

Hi,

Using the image slider at http://www.nickcaville.com – whilst the images look perfect on desktop, the mobile side is lacking in quality. I can understand reducing image sizes and quality for a reduction in data and load times, but this is an image portfolio, and a higher image quality when displayed on mobile would be preferred.

Is this changeable at all?

Hi,

Please go to Art theme > Theme Options > General settings, enable “Disable Image Srcset”.

Thanks for your response! The images are quite large, and whilst disabling image srcset is a good alternative, I’d like to explore a way of increasing the quality of images resized for mobile. No worries if this isn’t possible, but loading 7 x 800kb images on mobile if not on wifi isn’t ideal!
