Having a video-post being shown in Masonry portfolio grid

Hello. Why can’t I have a post with a video being shown on a Masonry Portfolio page template? I want to have a “master page” with various portfolio items, and when you click on each of the items, you’re taken to the respective portfolio page.

I set up a page with the template Masonry Portfolio and set the category to show just the items I want. All portfolio items are tagged with the appropriate category and all show up, except for the page with the video. The video item has (of course) been set to use the Video-template.

How can I get the featured image for the video page to show up in the grid?

I found a workaround by setting the post type to “standard” and checking Show Video further down on the page.

Hi,

The portfolio template (Masonry Portfolio included) only be shown with “Gallery” and “link” format posts. Please set the video into “Gallery” format post.
