Filters not showing on menu + styling issue

Hello, can someone please help with the below?

The example on this demo shows the filters aligned horizontally across the header https://seatheme.net/wp/arnold3/?header=horizon-menu-right

When I choose a header with that layout + with the option to have filters displayed in menu on header, the filters do not display. Currently my filters will only display in the menu when I set the header style to one of the options that stacks vertically.

In addition to that, the demo example filters have the hover effect and when one is selected it stays selected with the colour. Currently mine do not hover or select when the menu items do.

Any ideas or help?

Please go to Appearance > Theme Options > Layout, set the 2 options:

Thanks for the reply, but both of those options are already set.

Any other ideas?

As i was saying the highlight works on the menu items, but not the filters… And the filters only display with the menu style as stacked, not the first option as you suggested.
