Displaying the excerpt / subtitle on a page

So i have enabled the display expert in the page options. I can see the box in the edit page view. I have typed an excerpt into it. When i update the page – NOTHING happens. Any ideas (yes i’ve deleted the cache etc)? Thanks!

OK I have now spent hours trying to fix this. I did initially notice I was running the latest wordpress and realised this theme doesn’t support it. So i deleted everything, including the SQL tables. Reinstalled wordpress 4.5 which this theme IS supposed to support and it has made no difference. If I am unable to display an excerpt on a PAGE under the title then I’ll have to switch to another theme which is a shame.

Did you talk about this excerpt(look screenshot)? The latest version has just been released, please go to themeforest.net download and re-install it.

If it doesn’t work still. Could you please send your wp-admin(url/user/pass) via my profile contact form , I’ll log in to check it.
