hello!
I bought your lovely theme just so that I could have a simple front page with one photograph on it for my blog.
But I want to have 3 columns of thumbnails for my category lists
And if possible, I would like a second ‘latest posts’ page with 3 columns, so that people could have the option of scrolling through thumbnails to get to my posts
is there a ‘latest post’ shortcode i could put on a static page for the front page? tho i still need 3 columns in the other instances…
I don’t really understand how to customize your theme to do all the wonderful things it can do!
thanks in advance xoxox

but i still don’t know how to get three columns of the whole blog as a menu item…
i want to be able to click on a menu items and see all my latest posts in 3 columns

November 28, 2020 at 3:47 am #23158ok, i figured it out, but how do i get those different masonary grids on my blog page?
November 28, 2020 at 1:53 pm #23172i imported one of your demo templates or whatever, and it wrote over my whole site with no way of starting over, ie. i couldn’t uninstall it
i had to redo my entire site
what i want to know now is… you have a default on each of my blog posts to display feature image
and the picture won’t show up on my friend’s tablet until i turn that option off
but i don’t have the time to go thru 3000 posts and turn off that option
suggestions?
November 29, 2020 at 5:32 am #23186Hi,
Thank you for purchasing our theme. 🙂
what i want to know now is… you have a default on each of my blog posts to display feature image
and the picture won’t show up on my friend’s tablet until i turn that option off
but i don’t have the time to go thru 3000 posts and turn off that optionIt is not necessary to turn off all posts. It is possible by custom CSS(“Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS”), like:
.single-featured-image { display: none; }how do i get those different masonary grids on my blog page?
There are 2 kinds of Blog pages:
1, The default blog archive https://doc.seatheme.net/sea/blog/create-a-blog-page/
2, By BM content builder: https://doc.seatheme.net/sea-content-builder-plugin/create-blog-by-grid-moduleRegards!
SeaTheme – SeaTheme.net – Twitter – Facebook
November 29, 2020 at 6:33 am #23191thank you so much for the CSS for the feature image!
and the create a blog by grid module, i didn’t understand that at all
it said ‘learn how to make a grid’ and when i googled it, i just got a bunch of different plugins
anyway, my site is beautiful thanks to your theme, it’s just what i wanted, super clean, elegant, and simple
did you look at my site? http://totallylike.me
thanks again,

one thing that’s bugging me is when i scroll with the menu bar, there is a white background to it that covers part of my blog…
i tried to find it in CSS to change it to transparent, but my ‘inspect’ function has changed
can you tell me how to change the header background to transparent?
peeze? 🙂
November 30, 2020 at 12:40 am #23195in addition to wanting to turn the background of the menu bar transparent
i also wanted to say that i have no ‘BM Content Builder’… only some sort of font thing
any idea why i don’t have it?
November 30, 2020 at 4:37 am #23197i finally figured out how to turn the menu bar transparent
but still… i have no BM Content Manager’ in my sidebar
i don’t know where to get that!

December 1, 2020 at 6:32 am #23222i got a notification that there is an update to SEA
i tried to just install it as a theme, but it said the theme is already installed
i didn’t want to replace the one that i have, because i have put so much work into it
how do i get the update incorporated in the current SEA theme?
there doesn’t seem to be a page where it says ‘update available’ or anything like that
so i don’t know how to do it
thank you for your help
December 2, 2020 at 2:59 am #23229Hi,
You could remove the existed version theme, removing the theme is NOT meaning to remove website data. The website data is saved in a database instead of a theme file, it is WordPress rule.
Plz check how to update: https://doc.seatheme.net/sea/installation/how-to-update-sea-theme-and-plugin/But still suggests you make a data backup.
Regards!
December 3, 2020 at 1:42 am #23241thanks so much!! i thought it might over write my site the way your Demos do!
worked like a charm!December 3, 2020 at 1:45 am #23242however, i still don’t have the BM Content Builder in the sidebar….
December 3, 2020 at 2:12 am #23243Hi,
The BM Content Builder(blue button) is not in the sidebar, it is on the top bar: https://doc.seatheme.net/sea-content-builder-plugin/bm-content-builder-introduction/
——————————–
If it doesn’t work, may I check your website? Could you please send your question(this topic URL) and wp-admin(URL / username/password) to uiueux@gmail.com ?(If there is the Jetpack plugin, please disable “Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts”)

December 3, 2020 at 3:05 am #23245i don’t have anything like that, i have a large bar with the whale on the left and ‘edit content’ on the right
could that be it?
i don’t remember my password, i’ll have to change it to let you in, so let me know if the ‘edit content’ bar isn’t it?
thanks so much!
