big pic doesn't show up on category pages

Hello,

first of all: thank you for your wonderful theme.
If I understood your live demo correctly, the picture of the first post in every category should be shown as a big header picture. That doesn’t work for me. Interesting: the first post in every category doesn’t show the picture at all.
Now I have a default picture, but the other way it would be much nicer.

Please login wp-admin, go to Real/Layout, set a default image for “Default Image for Page Cover”

that’s what I did.
But I thought that the feature pic of the first post would show up in large as a header. Isn’t that so?

Hi,
Did you mean the cover imgage?
In post or page, you could set featured image. The “Default Image for Page Cover” would be shown for archive, category, 404 and posts/pages that un-set featured image

BWSM you didn’t answer Stefan’s question – I am having the same problem.

I set the featured image for posts. It appears at the begining of every post – this is OK.

But:

– when I go to my homepage no featured image of the latest post is shown
– same applies for category page – nothing is shown in featured post area

When I set Default Image for Page Cover it obviously works but I guess it’s not the case.

My and I believe Stefan’s question is: how to make a featured slide’s featured images appear both in homepage and category page?

Hi, there is not the feature post for archive page(included: default frontpage, category, tag.. )
I suggest that you pick a page as frontpage:
– Login wp-admin
– Create a page(Page/add new), activate “Enable Page Template”, some options would be shown.
– You could select featured post, pickup category…
– publish page
– Go to Real/themeoptions, select the page in “FrontPage”

How about content summary on my front page in featured post part – I can’t make it appear.

Show Content Summary is on on this page but it doesn’t work – what do I do wrong?
