Hello everyone,
I purchased the Art Theme but I don’t understand how to use it properly.I bought it as I’d like to create a site similar to the Art Gallery demo. So After installing the Theme on WordPress, I imported the demo. So far so good. Now, if I want to add a series of Artists, do I have to create manually every page using as base the “Single Artists” page or can I create them as “Posts”? If the latter, how?

Thank you for purchasing our product. You can use “Posts” as “Single Artists” pages.
Regards!

I tried to do but I don’t seem to be able to do it.
Could you please provide me with a step-by-step guide?Sincerely,
Falc0nMarch 20, 2024 at 2:11 am #30607Hi, sure
- 1. please refer to how to create a single post, set it as standard post format
- 2. set page layout via [General options],
Please enter a title, like a name of this artist. Set a category and featured image if you want list the artists on a Grid list, you can refer to the instructions on the individual portfolio page, which are basically the same. - 3. You mainly create the content via BM content builder, please read how to use BM content builder firstly. You can build a layout from zero via the builder. You can also insert a place holder template, check how to insert a template on the BM content builder, you can isnert the [artist] template (check the template position). Then you can edit as your own content based on the inserted content.
- 4. If you have many artist pages, you can list all the created artist pages using the Grid module.
The key is to select the source and category, refer to this screenshot for settings. To config the Grid layout style and other settings, please refer to this page(how to create Grid) (there is also a video tutorial at the bottom of the page).
Regards!
SeaTheme – FAQs – WordPress Customization – FacebookMarch 21, 2024 at 11:29 am #30609Thank you for your reply. I followed the tutorial but I still have some concerns:
1. If I create a “Pablo Picasso” artist page, how can I get the URL to be “mydomain/artists/pablopicasso”? Now it looks like mydomain/?p=496
2. Is there a way to omit in the webpage the content in the red square as well as the search bar?
3. Additionally, if I’d like to use Elementor, is there a way to import the templates built from BM Content Builder into Elementor without having to recreate them manually?
Sincerely,
MatteoMarch 21, 2024 at 11:32 am #30610Sorry for the double reply, I was able to answer to question 2. on my own. Question 1. and 3. I still don’t know what to do. Thanks
March 22, 2024 at 11:51 am #30611Hi, welcome
1. Please set all single posts of the artists in a category named ‘artists’
Go to [Settings/permalinks] option, pickup ‘Custom Structure’ set like the screenshot3. Sorry, it is impossible to import data directly from one editor(builder) to another by importing, because different editors use different data structures.
Regards!
