Another question! I noticed that there’s an “aside-child” folder. Now I’ve only done a little research, but my basic understanding of this child theme is:
– I will have “Aside” and “Aside-Child” as themes in my WordPress
– “Aside” will remain at its default stage
– “Aside-Child” is what I’ll activate and mess around with
– “Aside” acts as a reference for “Aside-Child”
So with that in mind, I can update “Aside” whenever a new version is available, and my currently activated “Aside-Child” will reference in those updates while still keeping all of my changes (or at least most of it). Is that how it works? Please correct me if I’m wrong!
