Hi there!
I have an issue I don’t know how to solve. When I google my website, in invisible mode, there are links (form the users’ archives) that appear that shouldn’t be visible:
https://elenitranouli.com/concepts-cat/curation-en/
https://elenitranouli.com/concepts-cat/concept_and_visual_id/
https://elenitranouli.com/author/elenitranouli_admin/I have checked the box that says “Do not allow search engines to show this author’s archives in search results.” for every user, as well as in each category, but these links are still visible.
Do you know how I could solve this?
Thank you!
September 9, 2019 at 3:49 am #19521Hi,
Could you give more tips? Whats’ invisible mode? Where does the “Do not allow search engines to show this author’s archives in search results” tip?
Normally, if you don’t want the Goggle to list some page, you should set it on robot.text
Regards!
SeaTheme – SeaTheme.net – Twitter – FacebookSeptember 10, 2019 at 10:19 pm #19537Hi!
The “Do not allow search engines to show this author’s archives in search results” box appears on every user’s profile:
users > click to edit the users profile > Yoast SEO settingsI also took the following actions:
Posts > Categories > click to edit each cateogory > SEO Advanced > “No” to “Allow search engines to show this Category in search results?”
Portfolio > Categories > click to edit each cateogory > SEO Advanced > “No” to “Allow search engines to show this Category in search results?”
The following three links should not appear on search engines, since these are not URLs that I use on my website:
https://elenitranouli.com/concepts-cat/curation-en/
https://elenitranouli.com/concepts-cat/concept_and_visual_id/
https://elenitranouli.com/author/elenitranouli_admin/But they still appear 🙁 (see photo)

Thank you!
September 11, 2019 at 2:04 am #19539Hi,
I read some article like https://yoast.com/blocking-your-sites-search-results/#comments
If you set it in SEO Yoast, it should work, it needs time to take effect.
I did not find the exact time. There is an old post here:
