I’d like to use the page templates like the grids, but I’m struggling to have them display and link other pages rather than posts?
I can only set the category and display posts, but not add pages under a parent page to a grid and have them linked.
Can the templates only be used with posts? Do I have to rebuild the whole pages using page builder rather than use the templates?
The templates only be used with posts by category. It is not necessary to rebuild pages.
You could install a free plugin to re-direct the post URL to page URL. like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-301-redirects/
