Hi, good evening,
Thanks very much for your template and your work. It’s perfect.
Is there any option to add a filter by product category, like Ajax, on the shop page?
Thanks very much for your help,
Best regards!July 29, 2018 at 6:26 am #15944Hi,
It is not possible by the default option. I suggest you look for a plugin.
Regards!

I have tried the above mentioned suggestion with a plugin, to get a filter on my shop page (woocommerce):
http://www.konkrat.dk/shopBut even with plugins the filter function still won’t show on the shop page.
We sell invites and other party elements and it is crucial that customers are able to filter between birthdays, weddings, baby shower etc.
Please advise me what to do.
Best regards,
Mie-DaniellaFebruary 19, 2019 at 8:31 pm #17855February 20, 2019 at 10:28 am #17865I have tried Woof and latest YITH Ajax product filter.
In woocommerce settings, I have set http://www.konkrat.dk/shop as the shop-page.Then I go to appearance > Widgets
I’ll drag the ‘YITH’ box to the shop sidebar and select my attribute ‘category’ (<– I have made the attribute in product attributes). After saving the filter still doesn’t show.
Best,
Mie-DaniellaFebruary 20, 2019 at 12:22 pm #17866There is not sidebar on the default layout. To add the shop widget sidebar, please change the template file(/woocommerce/archive-product.php), refer to: https://seatheme.net/forums/topic/sidebar-for-woocommerce/#post-15711
June 3, 2019 at 11:50 am #18652Hello BWSM,
The shop sidebare is still a struggle. I have tried to follow the instructions in your link, and changed the template file(/woocommerce/archive-product.php) as described.
I also use the YITH Ajax product filter plugin. However, my shop page is now blank – nothing is shown.
http://www.konkrat.dk/shopWhat to do?
Best,
Mie-DaniellaJune 4, 2019 at 1:13 am #18657That post(#17866) is out of date.
Please refer to this post: https://seatheme.net/forums/topic/product-sidebar-woocommerce/June 4, 2019 at 6:48 am #18659Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, that didn’t help.
When I replace the updated code (line 33-35), I get this error, when refreshing http://www.konkrat.dk/shop:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /var/www/konkrat.dk/public_html/wp-content/themes/arnold/woocommerce/archive-product.php on line 93
The site is experiencing technical difficulties.I have tried replacing the code in both the original template and in the edited version, you advised me to use previously.
Also, in WooCommerce status, I see 5 outdated templates. Should I just leave them as they are, or is there an update to Arnold theme that I have missed?
I use:
Wordpress: 5.2.1
WooCommerce version 3.6.4
Arnold 1.6.9.2I have changed the template back to the original, until I find the right solution.
June 4, 2019 at 1:09 pm #18661Your Arnold theme is too old, the latest Version is 1.7.4.3.
We are updating to 1.7.5 soon. It is compatible with Woo 3.6.xPlease try again to following, the issue may be caused missing
