    Hey there Bwsm,

sorry to bother you again, but please take a look at this:

    custom grid not working properly

When i arrange a layout for the Custom Grid – it just won’t show what i layouted.

    The bugs:

    – leaving the first 5 projects completely out
    – wrong places of projects
    – won’t show / load more projects at the bottom of the page

Is there anything I have to consider ?

Really appreciate your help here. Thank you very much.

    Best

    Hey Bwsm,

thanks for checking on it. But it is not working properly.

    http://reduzieren.com/newredu/test-custom-grid/

Check this. You chose the sub-category “Packaging” with 6 Items. Okay – our goal is show the main category “Arbeiten” (“works” in german) with the filters. This category contains 19 projects.

So i arranged the project over 4 columns.

At some point the Custom Grid stops showing all 19 projects. okay – so you click on “more projects” at the bottom, but then the grid will be arranged in a 3 (!) column grid somehow. Also if you choose any filter, the grid will be rearranged in a 3 column layout, besides still missing some of the 19 projects.

I appreciate your help here, but the “custom grid” is not working properly. The question is:

what is the reason for that ? Is this issue also happening on other custom grid layouts with that many projects ?

    possible reasons:

    – custom grid can’t handle specific arrangements ?
    – custom grid can’t handle projects above approx. 10 projects ?
    – maybe i need to reinstall the theme ? I updated it via the envato market plugin and after it is done, it shows the 1.1.1 version. Yet it keeps showing up an available update again as soon as you open the envato plugin again. Maybe an FTP rights problem ? (777 ?)

For flawless future of this theme, i would like you do try it yourself. A category about 19 projects in custom grid with a modified layout.

Thanks for your help Bwsm. Hope we can solve this.

    Best,
    Paul

So here are some more weird things i discovered:

    – The custom grid, sometimes shows it the right way now. The 3 Column rearrangement when clicking on filters is a regular behaviour.

    – Sometimes the custom grid fails to arrange, and looses projects when getting back to the “All” Filter

    – Although the category shown, also the boxes shown, is a number of 19 – the Filter Information (next to “All” on mouseover) says its only 18 projects ?

i provided some images for these behaviours:

This was tested in Google Chrome.

The 3 column arrangement and the layout of the first 10 projects (last screenshot) is also happening in Safari.

I dont want du bug you, just trying to provide a proper bugreport / experience here. Hope you understand.

    Thanks Bwsm,

so the update seemed to work properly now.

The custom grid also seems to work better now, although the selection of filters still leads to a 3 column layout. This is a detail, yet maybe you want to consider this in future updates.

Big thanks for your help and work on this Bwsm. Greatly appreciated.
