Yes, you have to re-build the galley project. Because the galley in huge theme is a special type post only for huge theme self.

Anyway, I made a test with the Add Media button , and no picture is shown when I test.

You should see the images. The images uploaded into media library should not be gone. If you turn back huge theme, can you see them? If you didn’t find them, please send your wp-admin(url/user/pass) via my profile contact form , I’ll log in to check it.

Also I think I have to add a menu for this portfolio section because my actual portfolio button from the other them show me nothing in this moment.

I don’t understand this question clearly. Did you talk the main menu of site? You could edit it in Appearance/Menus

So I need a step by step info (like for a newbie) to generate one portfolio item and to remake the menu to work for the portfolio.

I sorry to say, yes, at least for portfolio items. The galley built on your site only works for the old theme.

1. create the single gallery, Posts / Add new, pickup “gallery”, set a “category”:

2. create portfolio: Page / Add new, click “Switch to PageBuilder”, “choose module”, pick up “portfolio”,

click edit of portfolio:
choose a category of the gallery posts was set.

You could set other options for portfolio, like List Type, spacer…

considering, the gallery post is organized by category, use portfolio module to show the gallery by category
