I would like to include GIF stacked images and video in my portfolio. Is it possible to include GIF or video formats in the portfolio thumbnails?
January 4, 2017 at 2:02 am #11636Hi, thank you for purchasing our theme
It should be possible to use GIF, please let me know where the GIF shows on(which module or template?, better leave a page url).
Cheers!

January 5, 2017 at 1:44 am #11647For portfolio brick list, there are 4 sizes for thumbnail: 800 x 800px, 400 x 400px, 400 x 800px and 800 x 400px, like the screenshot.
If you upload a image bigger than the sizes, the theme would crop the image as right size.
If you upload a image size smaller the sizes like want to show GIF, the theme would use the original image.
January 11, 2017 at 9:22 pm #11681I tried out your suggestions, but there is still a problem. It will only play the GIF once, even if it is a continuous GIF. And if you come back to the page after viewing it (even if you refresh the page), it won’t play at all.
January 12, 2017 at 1:49 am #11682I checked your site, the gif image (http://meganknowles.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/BeachVideo.gif) size is too big, try to upload a gif less than 800×800
January 16, 2017 at 7:41 pm #11756I tried again, with a 400 x 400 px GIF, and it still didn’t work. It only plays once, and will not loop.

January 18, 2017 at 2:38 am #11785Hi, you are welcome! We are happy to help you.
Could you please give me a 5 stars rating when you goto themeforest ( “download” in drop-down menu when logged ) if you like the Aside theme? I would greatly appreciate .
