I’m trying to open a new 800px X 600px window when clicking on a particular menu option…

Is it possible to add an “onClick” event to a particular MENU option (the anchor tag) ?
If so, where can I find the file to modify the lateral menu?

You could consider to add the js code before </body>.
get the menu id by developer
```
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    jQuery('.menu-item-83>a').click(function(){
	window.open($(this).attr("href"), "popupWindow", "width=800,height=600,scrollbars=yes");
        return false;
    });
});
```
Notice: don’t use sub menu for this menu item.

Ok, the code works great but I`m having a hard time centering this new window in the middle of the screen.
I’m using attributes “left” and “top”, I even tried “screenX” and “screenY” but none of them seem to be working at all.

Any thoughts?

Fortunately, I figured out how to do that overnight!

My problem now is that I don’t know if there’s a way to avoid the page transition when clicking on a menu option.
You see, instead of redirecting the user to a new page, I want to open a pop up in the middle of the screen (so far so good) but I want to remain in the template’s home page.

Simply put, I don’t want my menu option to redirect anywhere. I want to remain in the same view I’m alredy in.
