Hello,
I’m using Air WP theme for a portfolio gallery. Every post I have on my site is a Gallery Format Post, ( as I understand the portfolio can only show Gallery format posts.)
I wish to use self-hosted .mp4’s with my Elementor-configured posts that will auto-play, loop, and have player controls. But when I go to publish, it wont show up on the site. There’s just a large space where the video should be located just under the title.

Can I use self-hosted videos with this theme? Having looping videos in my portfolio is very important to displaying my artwork on my website.
Please help!
Thank-you,May 13, 2021 at 1:49 pm #24630May 13, 2021 at 6:39 pm #24632Hi.
Sorry, I don’t think I was very clear. I wasn’t talking about the thumbnail. (By that I think you mean the Featured Image?)
I mean the self-hosted videos in all of my posts that I’ve edited with Elementor are not loading at all. http://mueo.art/2021/05/the-fog-of-fading-memories/
http://mueo.art/2021/05/mater-dolorosa/I think I’ve found a workaround by using animated looping webP file type, but am having a hard time uploading these in the theme. Is there a function PHP code or recommended Plug in you can send here that will allow me to upload webP to my media library? Thanks.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question 🙂
Please paste the custom CSS code to “Appearance > Customize: Additional CSS” to fix the video issue:
video.lazy-hidden { opacity: 1; }Generally WordPress doesn’t allow the .webp format for WordPress media and gives an error, to solve that error you need this plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/allow-webp-image/
