I am using the Post Types Order plugin to change the order of my portfolio posts. However, the order does not reflect in the portfolios itself. How I do make sure my portfolios use this custom order I set?

Hi,

I didn’t test the plugin. It is not necessary to set the order by a 3rd plugin.
Please set the order by “Date” and “Descending”. You could set the order by each post date: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dpj09zcr87p2eou/qq20200506-150049.jpg?dl=0

e.g.
If you want Post A is at the first, please set the date of Post A is the lastest fo all posts.

I’d prefer to use the plugin because it’s drag and drop. Your solution is very time consuming if you have a lot of projects. Any suggestion?

I tested the Post Types Order plugin(is it? https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/ ) just now, it works on my local server.

No it’s about the order within the portfolio (grid) list in the SEA Theme.

I know I can arrange them by setting the date of each post, but it really would be nice to have a more intuitive way.

Hi,

Yes, this plugin works for single portfolio(project item) also. You could drag the items to change their order in the single portfolio list admin page. The grid will change order also.
