our company just bough your beautiful and simple theme – TEDDY. We are very satisfied as it looks great and it is really easy to use.

We need some help though:

1) Is it possible to use gallery post A01 as a “video post”? i.e. on the left side there would be video on which people can click and watch it without opening any lightbox or static post page.. and on the right side there would be sidebar with a headline and text on which you can click and the static post will appear..? (=as it is on standard or gallery post)

2) Another thing that would really help us is the option to click on the post box whereas a page with another posts will open.. (not a particular post)

3) Our facebook like button doesn´t show.. what are we doing wrong? it seems the pixels are 300×0.. maybe that´s the problem.. but we don´t know where to change it.. can you help us? Will you tell us what to do or should I send you our login data?

4) It seems the mouse scrolling has some effect which is making the scrolling slower than usual.. Is it possible to remove this „slow motion“ effect? =When I start scrolling, the page starts scrolling a little later and when I stop scrolling it stops a bit later..

5) I changed some of the posts colors.. but the change didn’t appear in my administration wordpress page:
Is there a way that I can see the actual colors here too?
And.. is there a way that I can have more colors than 8? (If yes, how please..)

6) When I click on my company’s logo, the homepage opens. If I want it to open another page than homepage, what should I do? (= I don’t want people to see everything at once when they come to my site, only some posts that I choose)

1. please using attached file replace you original file mod-video.php, rember backup it first.
for static page embed videos, please paste videos frame code in page editor with text mode.
2. its difficult to do this in this theme, need deeply customize this theme with components to show list in list.
3. this issue will reply you later.
4. from my end, I have test the scroll speed with and without nicescroll component, all is ok. the scrool speed is normal. please check you browser or mechine performance?
5. these file should be there. if not please login to themeforest.net and download it again.
6. to change the logo link: first, create a page that include you prefer posts. second, add below code to file js/main.js at bottom before ‘})’, the url change to page url you created :

7. please tell me where the list you want to show disc style, and I will check the style and give you the css code later.
8. the lightbox plugin let you add caption(title) to a popup window rather than a image name, please check here example ‘HTML 5 COMPATIBILITY’: http://codecanyon.net/item/jquery-lightbox-evolution/full_screen_preview/115655

1. great, it works! I am very happy. Could you please tell me the easiest way to backup everything? I dont know how to use phpAdmin nor MySQL.. is it enought just to copy all the files from my ftp server and if something goes wrong, erase the wrong files and paste back the good ones?
2. maybe.. is it possible to link the title to another list page for example? (i.e. by clicking on the title, another list page would open)
3. i replaced the single.gallery files and nothing changed. we are still not able to see the facebook button. can you see it? and on another note.. the buttons are not in one row. I installed qTranslate plugin for English and Slovak language (as you said you tried it with the theme) and everything works great (well, after some adjustments and after installing qTranslate slug as well) except some words and phrases don’t translate such as “leave a reply”, “recent comments” posted by admin” etc.. http://draft2.skyform.eu/test-post/ Do you know what I should do and where can I correct it? Or should I rather ask qTranslate plugin developer?
10. Is it possible to put a video into a background slider? = to have a video as a background? If yes.. how please?

Now the sk_SK.mo and sk_SK.po files should be fine to be checked. I translated it in Poedit (well only the important things) and saved as .mo but still it doesn’t work.. only “Archives” are translated correctly to “Archív”, but nothing else. I also found out that “Categories” is not in your default language .po file.. only “Category: ” but “Recent Posts” or “Recent Comments” or “Posted by “.. all this I translated to Slovak correctly in Poedit but it doesn’t work on the website.. Can you please please check what might be wrong? (you have my ftp login info) http://draft2.skyform.eu/testovaci-post/

Can you tell me what exactly have you updated? I found sk_SK.mo.org.. anything else? I need to know exactly, because draft2 is only draft for trying things and draft1 is the real website which will be online (I havent installed qTranslate plugin there yet..

PC with retina display. But I also had the same problem on iPhone, so I guess it would be the same on iPad..

Yes, normally you don’t see the icons on iPhone when the menu is folded, but I tried to unhide it (in editor) because I wanted to have the social networks icons on the phone devices, too. But it looked really bad and nobody would know what the icons mean, so I hid them again.

Old iPads no, but maybe new iPads with retina? But it was only my guess..

Yes, this feature already there. you only to do is update the retina file here: teddy/img/logo_retina.png.

Hi, set you ‘welcome’ post with white title and excertp like this:
1. set the post with standard format and ‘post options’ section ‘block in list’/’layout’ to ‘standard’
2. find the post id(assuming 238), add below code to style.css at the bottom:

#post-238 h3.post-title a{color:#fff}
#post-238 .text_des{color:#fff}

about the backslider, I will contact its author soon.

-about video size in mobile device please edit file css/responsive.css, for different screen size you should add different css rules. for example below 480px screen size, you should add this:
.entry p iframe {width:320px}
for list page video size you can try this:
.list_item iframe {width:320px}
-about add faq link, please try this:
open file functions.php and find line
<div id="bs0" class="backslider">
right after this add:
<a href="/faq/">FQA</a>
-for cut image issue, add image to the gallery would be better.

and I came to another slight problem.. I need the “+” button which allowes me to create bullet lists, toggle for FAQ etc.. (http://ximudesign.com/theme/?theme=Teddy) but it is missing.. 🙁 how do I put it where it belongs?

Hi, thanks for the tip, I tried it and it doesn’t seem to work very well on Safari, but maybe I will contact the creator of the plugin and ask him for help. Or maybe I will try a different plugin..

Isn’t there any code that you are aware of that I can write directly into the blog to make it responsive? If not, no problem, I will try the plugins or maybe I will end up with embedding the video from Vimeo (even though I wanted to avoid posting this particular video to Vimeo)
